     Ballet slippers can always be found second-hand. Any dance school will have some kind of exchange or re-sale program for used shoes. Similarly, most dancewear stores will have used slippers at reduced prices. Fortunately, this is one time you do not have to be worried if the slippers show signs of wear. Where ballet slippers are concerned, a little wear can be a good thing, as it saves you the trouble of breaking in the shoes yourself. This way, you get to avoid the blisters and soreness that comes with breaking in a new pair of ballet slippers.
